Man shot dead in Lyari

Karachi
A young man was gunned down in Lyari area on Sunday in what police termed a targeted incident.
An unidentified, 22-year-old man was shot dead when some armed men riding a motorcycle fired at him near Brohi Chowk in Lyari while he was going on a motorcycle.
The area people immediately informed the police. The police shifted the body to Civil Hospital for legal formalities.
According to the police the deceased seemed to be Baloch and was killed in a targeted attack.
Suspected bandit killed in shootout
An alleged bandit was killed in an encounter with Shahrah-e-Faisal police in Jhore Morr area on Sunday.
Three armed men riding a motorcycle barged into an eyeglasses store in Bat-ul-Hina Apartment at Sharah-e-Faisal. They looted cash and other valuables and were about to flee but in the meantime a police van reached the spot. Seeing the police, the armed men opened fire and the ensuing trade of fire resulted in killing of one of the alleged bandits. The police shifted the body of the 25-year-old unidentified man to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities.
Woman among four killed in accidents
Four persons, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents on Sunday.
Muzaffar, 70, died, when he accidentally fell down from the stairs of a mosque in Azizabad Colony in Baldia Town area.
Noor Bibi, 45, was knocked down to death by a recklessly-driven water tanker near Moi Goth situated at Northern Bypass in Mangopir area while she was crossing the road.
Two young men, Noor Hasan and Kashif, riding a bike were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a speedy vehicle at Hub River Road in Moach Goth area.
