Four more suspected terrorists have been arrested in connection with the Safoora Chowrangi attack, the Karachi police chief said on Sunday.
Speaking at a press conference, Additional IGP Karachi Ghulam Qadir Thebo said the four men were arrested with the help of the information retrieved from the four men who were arrested earlier for their involvement in the attack.
On May 13, terrorists had attacked a bus carrying members of the Ismaili community near Safoora Chowrangi and murdered 44 people.
The official said during interrogation, the four men who had been arrested now had disclosed that 45 terrorists were involved in the bus attack.
He added that police were trying to arrest their remaining accomplices too.

Mirza’s guards held
Thebo said police arrested 11 men on Saturday who were trying to enter the high court premises armed with weapons in three vehicles.
The official said the Preedy SHO reached the scene with his team and arrested the men.
“They were trying to enter the high court premises in three Vigo wagons bearing number plate numbers KS-9555, KR-8555 and KR-8111,” he added.
The official said these men were criminals from upcountry and private security guards of former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza.
They were identified as Malik, Riaz, Muhammad Ashiq, Muhammad Haroon, Ghulam Wali, Hamid Hussain, Nijat Hussain, Tajamul Hussain, Abdul Hameed and Nabi Bukhsh.
The official said police seized 10 rifles, four G3 rifles, two LMGs and thousands of bullets from these men. He added that these weapons and ammunition were stolen from Nato containers.
