A poverty-stricken young man committed suicide in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and a bullet-riddled body was recovered in Manghopir on Monday.
Rehan Azam, 35, after quarrel with his wife over some financial issues locked himself in a room of his flat in Al-Khizar Heights in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block-3 and hanged himself to death from a ceiling fan.
His family members informed the Gulistan-e-Jauhar police who shifted the body to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for legal formalities.
According to the police, the deceased committed suicide over financial crisis.

Meanwhile a bullet-riddled body of Muhammad Waseem, 30, was found near Ghazi Goth Hills in Mangopir police jurisdiction.
A passerby saw the body and informed the police. The police mobile van reached the spot and shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.
The police said that they found a pistol near the body but they were investigating the matter.
