The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Wednesday reported three cases of impersonation of candidates, while at least one student was caught cheating red-handed on the second
day of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual exams.
All the cases were referred to the unfair means committee of the board, said a BSEK official.
The examinations of classes IX and X, of science and science general groups, both regular and private students, began on April 7.
According to the BSEK official, three impersonators were caught during the morning shift of Faran High School, located in Sector 14-B of Orangi Town and second shift at Aleema Government Boys Secondary School, North Nazimabad.
Meanwhile, a case for using unfair means during a paper was reported at Citizens Public Secondary School, Civil Lines.
The BSEK official said that the unfair means committee would decide the penalty for violating rules and regulations.
