Six people, including a young woman, were killed in separate road accidents on Wednesday.
Adnan, 23, and his 25-year-old sister-in-law Sania, both residents of Korangi, were killed when a speeding water tanker rammed into their motorcycle at Defence More.
The driver of the tanker managed to flee the spot leaving his vehicle abandoned. After the incident, the enraged crowd blocked the Korangi Road and pelted stones on the passing vehicles.
Later, the area police reached the spot, controlled the situation, seized the vehicle and shifted both the bodies to the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical College for legal formalities..
In yet another accident at the same spot a motorcyclist namely Murtaza, 25, was ran over by recklessly driven vehicle.
Furqan, 25, and his unidentified 24-year-old friend were injured when a speeding vehicle hit their motorcycle at Korangi Crossing. Both the injured breathed their last during shifting to the JPMC.
Abdul Samad, 45, was also killed when his motorcycle was hit by a rashly driven vehicle near Masroor Base.
