No nation can progress without focusing on research as it is pivotal and vital to human development in any part of the world.
These views were expressed by Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Professor Department of International Relations, University of Karachi, Prof Dr Moonis Ahmar, at the inaugural session of a two-day workshop on ‘Research Methodology’.
He hoped that the workshop will enhance the capacity of participants in the field of research methodology and help them in pursuing their future research.
Dr Anila Amber Malik, the chairperson of the psychology department and workshop coordinator, said research and methodology. Were necessary to equip students and researchers with tools to conduct quality-oriented research. Amber believed that research was vital for the development of every field of knowledge.
Chairman, Department of English, Professor Kaleem Raza Khan said every research must contribute something new to its respective field, adding that experience followed by reasoning culminates into research.
