Marketing Association of Pakistan (MAP) Lahore Chapter organized a special seminar on “Opportunities for Marketers in Evolving Pakistani Middle Class” by Head of Innovations & Insights, Nestle Pakistan & Afghanistan, Telenor Pakistan, Mr. Amin Piracha. The Seminar was attended by a large number ofmembers and different leading Advertising and Marketing groups. The Vice President Malik Amer Salam presided the seminar, while Mr. Sohail Rana, Joint Secretary and Mr. Ahmed Shoaib Khan, Joint Treasurer accompanied the chief guest on stage. Delivering the Special Presentation, the Guest Speaker Mr. Amin Piracha discussed the 5 trends in the Pakistani Middle Class, such as Confident Consumer Appearance, Female Workforce, Increased Internet Access, Socially Conscious Middle Class and Brand Consciousness among youth. He also elaborated the growth of middle class which is the key driver of economy. By discussing the evolutionary process of Middle Class, he said “The Middle Class has grown by 24 percent in the last decade. He further said that due advancement and modern trends of society and by raising the living standards, there are lot of opportunities for Marketers to targeting the middle class. Earlier, the Vice President of MAP, Malik Amer Salam discussed the various activities of MAP and said that two more committees’ i.e Corporate Relations and International Relations Committees have formed, headed by Mr. Nasir Javaid Chowdhry and Mr. Ahmed Shoaib Khan respectively. He said that we have set the date for industrial visit and due limited seats first come first serve rule will be apply. He also appreciated Mr. Amin Piracha special interest for delivering an exclusive presentation of Pakistani middle class to the MAP Members. At the end, the Vice President, Malik Amer Salam presented the Memento to the Guest Speaker along with Joint SecretaryMr. Shahid Sohail Rana and the Joint treasurer Mr. Ahmed Shoaib Khan.***
