Mobilink honoured

ISLAMABAD: Mobilink has become the only telecom company to have received the Green Office Certification for three of its business premises in Lahore and Islamabad, a statement said on Monday.
The latest WWF Green Office Award 2015 was granted after its Head Office, Mobilink House and adjacent IBC II building, Islamabad premises were successfully audited for their consumption of electricity, paper and the residual solid waste and the awareness level of its employees, it said.
Overall, Mobilink was able to decrease its consumption of the above resources by 73 percent. Mobilink had earlier recorded a 35 percent reduction in carbon footprint and 50 percent in solid waste among other measures taken in 2014.
