Karachi: Telenor has gained around 2.6 million 3G subscribers in 73 cities across the country, a release announced on Friday.
Irfan Wahab Khan, Chief Marketing Officer, Telenor Pakistan, expressing delight said, “We have a twofold strategy: one is to increase the number of 3G sites and other is to increase the number of 3G cities across the country.”
The release further added that during the current commercial rollout phase, 3G services were launched in Pabbi, Karak, Sheikhupura, Toba Tek Singh, Lakki Marwat, Mianwali, Khyber Agency and Vihari.
Free trial of 3G services were to be offered to Telenor customers in newly added areas for two weeks.
