FAISALABAD: Anti-Corruption police have booked two teachers for fraud.
They are Muhammad Amin of the Government Municipal College, Faisalabad, and Abid Ali of the Government High School, 208/RB. They had obtained jobs on forged degrees. The case has been instituted on the complaint of the Education EDO.
FOUR CONVICTED: Additional Sessions Judge Azizullah Kalu on Thursday convicted four accused in a murder case. The judge awarded death sentence to Iftikhar Ahmad and life term to Muhammad Khan, Ashfaq Ahmad and Babar Ali.

FAISALABAD: A police team led by Lyallpur Town SP Awais Malik on Thursday arrested 12 accused involved in the attack on a team led by the city AC.
Police raided surrounding areas of Sidhupura and arrested Sajjad Nasir, Muhammad Zahid, Ali Nazir, Muhammad Sarwar, Akhtar Ali, Altaf Ahmad, Syed Kashif Ali, Muhammad Yaqoob, Ali Imran, Mohabat Ali and Ghulam Jilani. Raids are being conducted by police to arrest the remaining culprits. Earlier, a team led by the City AC was attacked when it raided a fake soft drink factory at Sidhupura some days ago.

FAISALABAD: The young doctors of the Allied Hospital staged a demonstration against the government for privatising of the government hospitals.
After suspending the work, they gathered on a road and chanted slogans against the government. They warned the government to withdraw its decision otherwise they would extend the strike in all the government hospitals.
