DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A man shot dead his niece over a petty issue in Badh area in the limits of Saddar Police Station on Thursday, official sources said. They said that one Muhammad Altaf allegedly opened fire on Nasreen Bibi, 18, after an exchange of harsh words. She received several bullets in his body and died on the spot. The accused managed to flee the scene. The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan for autopsy and was handed over to the relatives for burial. The police registered the case and started an investigation.
