SUKKUR: Two condemned prisoners were hanged to death in the Sukkur Central Jail on Wednesday. Reports said Third Additional Sessions Judge Sukkur had awarded capital punishment to Maulvi Abdul Razzaq Chohan on November 23, 2004 in a case of killing Aftab Mirani, on the basis of evidence and after hearing statements of the witnesses. On Wednesday, the convict was executed by the jail authorities.
The jail authorities also executed Jalal alias Jalil Mouraijo. He was also awarded capital punishment by the Third Additional Sessions Judge, Naushehro Feroz in the case of murdering Haroon Mouraijo in the year 2000.
