KP Assembly adjourned for lack of quorum

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was adjourned on Friday without any proceeding for lack of quorum as there were only six members in the 124-member House when the session was started after a two days break. Just after recitation from the Holy Quran, Taj Muhammad Tarand a ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member, pointed out the lack of quorum. Chairmen panel, Fazle Shakoor, who was presiding over the session in the absence of the speaker and deputy speaker, had to adjourn the session for April 8.
