India urged to shun stubbornness, act like good neighbour

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways (PR) Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that India should shun its attitude of stubbornness and act like a good neighbour if it wants to move ahead along with the developing global countries.
He stated this while addressing a ceremony in connection with the inauguration of a new building of the Government Girls Elementary School Chouhang, Lahore and later talking to media here on Saturday.
Saad Rafique said that extremist organisations in India had defaced the secular face of India among the comity of the nations. He said that India should review obduracy which was not in favour of both Pakistan and India and civil society of the sides should also think over matter that neighbours can’t be changed.
He said, “India should keep in mind that geo-strategic location of the countries can’t be changed. We both needed to live as good, peaceful neighbours, avoid interfering in each other’s internal matters which is the need of the hour,” the minister added. Saad Rafique also expressed grave concern over politicising sports and urged to keep it aside from political matters.
