KARACHI: A 12-year-old orphan, Peter, is spirited away to the magical world of Neverland, where he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.
“Pan” stars Hugh Jackman, Rooney Mara and Garrett Hedlund and was directed by Joe Wright of “Atonement”. “Pan’s” world premiere will be on 9th October. In Pakistan, Geo Films bring this Hollywood fantasy movie.
“Pan” is a 2015 British-American fantasy adventure film written by Jason Fuchs, and a prequel to Scottish author JM Barrie’s Peter Pan story, first staged in 1904. Levi Miller plays the title character, Peter. It is an invented origin story depicting the origins of Peter Pan and Captain Hook.
It is not just an origin story for Peter Pan, but also a fresh interpretation of Neverland and its various inhabitants. The tale begins with Peter living in an orphanage when he (and others) are captured and enslaved.
Living a bleak existence at a London orphanage, Peter finds himself whisked away to the fantastical world of Neverland. Adventure awaits as he meets new friend James Hook and the warrior Tiger Lily.
They must band together to save Neverland from the ruthless pirate Blackbeard. Along the way, the rebellious and mischievous boy discovers his true destiny, becoming the hero forever known as Peter Pan.
Parents need to know that “Pan” is a live-action origin story set during World War II about Peter Pan and Captain Hook.
A band of pirates kidnaps an orphan and takes him to Neverland, where he must save the land from the deadly pirate Blackbeard.
