Air chief, commander Land Forces UK call on General Raheel

RAWALPINDI: The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, has vowed to eliminate terrorists from even the remotest pockets at all costs.
He was talking to the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, who called on him at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Monday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), progress on the ongoing operation in Shawal Valley, North Waziristan Agency, was discussed during the meeting.
The air chief assured full support to the ongoing operation against the terrorists.
Meanwhile, Commander UK Land Forces Lieutenant General James Rupert Everard called on General Raheel at the GHQ.
The ISPR said matters pertaining to mutual interest, including bilateral training exchanges and experience sharing, came under discussion during the meeting. The commander of the UK Land Forces appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for countering terrorism.
