ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned a meeting on Monday to decide on the application of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) that the Local Bodies (LB) elections should be held using the biometric system.
The KP chief minister had filed an application that the biometric system should be introduced for the LB elections in the province.
The Nadra officials will also be attending the meeting called by the ECP here on Monday. Nadra official will be giving a presentation on the biometric system during the meeting.
Subsequent to the presentation, a decision would be made whether biometric system could be introduced or not during the LB elections in KP.
