Coronavirus: Police deployed outside homes of 44 pilgrims
JHANG: Police constables have been deployed outside the homes of 44 pilgrims who were discharged from quarantine centre when they tested negative for coronavirus. Some 77 pilgrims were shifted from Multan to Jhang quarantine centre last week and 21 pilgrims tested positive and they quarantined in the centre. The remaining pilgrims test reports are awaited. Some 44 pilgrims were discharged and they reached their homes under security protection.
The notices issued by the DC were pasted outside their homes to avoid public meetings for 14 days. Moreover, nine payment centres have been established to distribute Ehsaas Programme stipend to deserving families. The centres started functioning in public schools and college buildings of all four tehsils of the district.
