Woman, alleged paramour killed in Mansehra
MANSEHRA: A man on Sunday killed his wife and her alleged paramour in Lihal village of Oghi tehsil on Sunday, police officials said.
“The woman had left her home to elope with a man but her husband fired and killed both of them,” Faisal Khalil, the station house officer of Oghi
Police Station, told reporter. Abdul Qadir had married with the woman some one-and-half-year ago and suspecting her having illicit relations with Muhammad Javed since then.The sources said Muhammad Javed had arrived at woman’s house to take her along when her husband opened fire on them, killing both of them on the spot. The slain women, according to police, had also tried to flee with Muhammad Javed earlier but the local people settled the issue amicably to avoid bloodshed.The bodies were taken to the Civil Hospital in Oghi where doctors handed them over to respective families after completion of medico-legal formalities.
