LAHORE: Former US Presidential candidate Senator Mike Gravill has suggested that the Pakistan government should make a written demand to the Obama administration for the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui instead of making vain statements in this regard. He was addressing a joint press conference with the Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaqat Baloch who called on him at a local hotel to present a memorandum for the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui. Mike Gravill said Dr Aafia’s release was the demand of the moment. Senator Mike Gravill was accompanied by chairperson, International Justice Movement, Tina Foster.
