In Sindh, the recruitment of teachers began in 2012 with a test conducted by the National Testing Service. Three years have passed and the process is still ongoing. Currently, teachers are providing teaching services without pay.
Many teachers travel out of their cities and incur heavy costs. They are not being paid their due salaries even though this programme was fully funded by the World Bank. Where have the funds gone? I would like to request the Supreme Court to take notice of the grievances of teachers in Sindh. I would also request the World Bank to audit the funds provided to the Sindh government.
