This refers to the news report, ‘PPP, MQM trade barbs over Karachi’s water shortage’ (May 6). The problem is that there is great imbalance between supply and demand because no new water scheme has been initiated since the last couple of years whereas the city’s population has seen a phenomenal increase.
The other point is a faulty distribution system. The water shortage needs to be evenly shared between all localities.
