It pains one to see the ongoing nonstop destruction and deforestation of the Margalla Hills along the Murree Expressway. It is obvious that this blatant destruction of Margalla Hills must have been authorised by governmental agencies.
If the destruction of our green areas is being undertaken with the connivance and approval of government agencies then they are all party to causing a huge environmental damage to the area and its people. The Supreme Court should take suo motu notice of this obscene destruction of the Margalla Hills.
