After losing their first two World Cup matches, our cricket team should show some strength now and try to win their next matches convincingly. They need to control their nerves and improve their game. Most importantly what they need most is the support of the nation.
Unfortunately, the situation back home is even more chaotic. Experts are churning out strange logic while criticising players, management and selectors. To make matters even more complicated, Moin Khan’s casino visit has made headlines. Had it been any other team, this visit would never have been discussed. Not surprisingly, Moin’s casino trip has been linked with some kind of attempts to fix the match against the West Indies. The casino controversy could have been handled in a more professional manner. But we are an immature lot and so are our decisions.
