Japanese envoy lauds Pakistan’s economic turnaround
ISLAMABAD: The outgoing Japanese Ambassador on Friday said owing to Pakistan’s economic turnaround, a significant number of investors from his country were preparing to explore business opportunities in the country.
The outgoing Japanese Ambassador, Hiroshi Inomata, made the remarks during his farewell call on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here at the PM House. The PM appreciated the ambassador’s contribution in strengthening the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Japan and said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Japan.
Hiroshi also expressed satisfaction at the state of current bilateral relations between the two countries. He said Pakistan has extraordinarily performed in the domains of foreign policy and economic turnaround. He said Pakistan’s efforts towards reaching out to its neighboring countries were highly commendable.
The Japanese ambassador said it has been a great honor for him to serve as an ambassador to Pakistan and expressed gratitude for the cooperation and valuable support extended to him by the Government of Pakistan.
