Tiger couple shifted to Kamalia Wildlife Park

TOBA TEK SINGH: People have expressed pleasure after the arrival of a tiger couple at the Kamalia Wildlife Park.

After the death of a female tiger some two-and-a-half-year ago, only male tiger was left in the park and the visitors rush was decreasing in the park. Now after the arrival of the couple from the Lahore Zoo, scores of children and their families visited the park on Sunday. The park’s supervisor Abdul Rashid told that he was happy that the rush of the visitors had been restored in the park.

FAREWELL PARTY: The Irrigation Employees Power Union will arrange a farewell party in the honour of Irrigation Chief Engineer Hanif Khalid who will retire from service on Tuesday (tomorrow).

The union’s press secretary Allah Bakhsh Sial told on Sunday that the farewell party would be arranged on Hanif’s retirement day in Lahore in which Punjab Irrigation Secretary Saif Anjum would be the chief guest.
