Bus mechanic gunned down by four people

PAKPATTAN: A bus mechanic was shot dead by four unidentified people over a minor dispute at Mohallah Shamsabad, Arifwala.
Muhammad Arshad, 28, of Chak 147/EB was a mechanic at the bus stand. When he did not return his house on Saturday night, his family started searching him. In the meantime, Aslam and Naveed of Mohallah Shamsabad told Arshad’s father Manzoor Ahmad Jatt that four unidentified people shot him dead after a quarrel. Police have registered a case and started investigation.

On Saturday night, the family members were sleeping when Hassan Ali and an unidentified man entered and allegedly tried to kidnap Hanif’s daughter but she raised hue and cry. To it, the accused fled. Police have registered a case.
