The provincial minister for local government, Jam Khan Shoro, and the chief minister's adviser on law, Murtaza Wahab, called on Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan at his official residence on Monday.
A statement issued said that both the officials apprised the governor of ongoing development projects and matters pertaining to the local bodies.
The governor urged the ministers to ensure that the ongoing public welfare projects were completed on time and alternate routes be determined prior to development work, so that flow of traffic and construction work were not affected.
The governor said he was hopeful the development projects would generate job opportunities in Sindh and reasserted the government's committment to public welfare.
