The rupee maintained its position against the dollar on improved supply of the foreign currency, dealers said on Thursday. The rupee ended 104.92 against the dollar from 104.93 in the interbank foreign exchange market.
“On sufficient supply the market opened on the lower side. However, some buying was seen later in the day,” a dealer said.
The interbank foreign exchange market opened in the range of 104.89/104.93. The market witnessed the high of 104.92 and the low of 104.91.
