NAP not being implemented in Punjab, Islamabad, says Aitzaz
ISLAMABAD: Senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan said on Sunday that there had been no implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) in Punjab and Islamabad.
He said that PPP wished that the government should complete its tenure but Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was a master of committing mistakes. He lauded the services of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif but said that the COAS should retire on time.
He said that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had been claiming of the successful implementation of NAP however banned outfits had been operating in Punjab with new names. He said that Dr Asim had been termed a terrorist while cell phones had been closed in Islamabad during the speeches of Maulana Abdul Aziz on Friday prayers.
