Convict hanged in Sialkot

SIALKOT: A murder convict was hanged in the District Jail on Thursday.
The convict, Sajid of Kotli Bawa Faqeerchand, had gunned down Amjad over an old enmity in Gujranwala city in 2003. The body of the convict was handed over to his family for burial.

SIALKOT: A 32-year-old man was murdered at Kotli Behram in Civil Lines police limits on Thursday.
Nadir Masih, an employee of the Tehsil Municipal Administration, was gunned down by two unidentified motorcyclists. According to police, the motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
