Protest against gas loadshedding
From Our Correspondent
MULTAN: Residents of various areas on Tuesday staged a demonstration against gas loadshedding in their localities.
The residents of Shah Rukn-e-Alam, New Multan Colony and Piran Gaib localities protested in front of the SNGPL Regional Headquarter and chanted slogans against the gas loadshedding. The protestors blocked Piran Gaib Road in protest and blocked traffic for several hours. The protestors ended their protest after assurance from the SNGPL officers that the gas supply would be restored soon. Meanwhile, the Mepco authorities suspended the deputy manager (construction) for negligence.
