Old man murdered over petty issue

LAHORE
An 80-year-old man was killed in Johar Town police limits over an issue on Monday.
Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy. An investigation officer said the victim identified as Haji Abdul Aziz, son of Ismael, was sitting in front of his house in Feroziyawala and smoking Huqqa when accused Azhar carrying a sharp-edged tool (kassi) attacked him. As a result, the victim received serious injuries. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. The IO said children of the victim’s family and the accused had quarrelled a few days ago. Police arrested the accused.
