Wife of Ghulam Ahmad Bilour laid to rest
PESHAWAR: Wife of the Awami National Party (ANP) senior vice-president and parliamentary leader in the National Assembly Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, who had breathed her last the other day, was laid to rest in
her ancestral graveyard near the historic Wazir Bagh on Thursday.
A large number of
people from different
walks of life and leaders
of different political
parties attended the funeral prayers.
Prominent among those who attended the funeral were ANP’s central secretary general Mian Iftikhar Hussain, provincial president Ameer Haider Hoti, senior member of the party Mohammad Adeel, Afrasiab Khattak, Syed Aqil Shah, Sardar Hussain Babak, Mardan district nazim Himayatullah Mayar and others.
She was the sister-in-law of former provincial senior minister late Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour and aunt of Haroon Bashir Bilour, provincial secretary information of the party.
Her Qul would be held at the Bilour’s House tomorrow (Saturday).
