Rigged elections unacceptable to AJK people, says Kaira

LALAMUSA: PPP leader Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Kaira on Monday said the election commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir seemed helpless before rulers, and said rigged elections would not be acceptable for the people of the AJK.
In a statement, the PPP leader said the AJK people would not accept the electoral results if AJK election commission did not take any action against the federal minister who allegedly violated code of conduct in the polls. He said the PPP-AJK leader Chaudhry Latif Akbar competed the state machinery and un-democratic forces bravely. He thanked the people of AJK for electing the PPP candidates.
