Strict checking of prices ordered

LAHORE:Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz has directed his field formations to strictly check and implement official price lists across the City.

He passed these instructions on Sunday while chairing a meeting. He said all assistant commissioners should enforce and implement price lists besides carrying out inspections in their areas. Price checking will be done on mega stores and shops of the city, he directed and added that the rate list should be displayed in a prominent place.

Strict crackdown should be done on violation of price lists, he said and added that cases should be registered against the violators and they should be arrested. The DC directed for continuing dengue activities and said special focus should be given on indoor and outdoor dengue surveillance.

Check the air coolers and rooftops in the houses, he said, adding attendance of dengue workers in the field should be strictly monitored, he said and appealed to the citizens to take special care of cleanliness in their homes and keep the surrounding environment clean and don't let dirty water stand anywhere. Meanwhile, he visited several polling stations in the city and monitored the polling process.
