Youth’s ear, nose chopped off for ‘honour’
MUZAFFARGARH: A man chopped off the nose and an ear of a youth allegedly for having illicit relationship with his wife. According to police, Akram had illicit relationship with the wife of Abdul Qayyum of Mahmood Kot. On the day of the incident, Abdul Qayyum and his accomplices cut the nose and an ear of Akram. Akram was shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan in a critical condition. Police have arrested Qayyum.
Six injured: Six people sustained injuries in two road accidents on Thursday. According to Rescue-1122, a car overturned near Sandeela intersection in Kot Addu, leaving three car occupants injured. The injured were shifted to Indus hospital Muzaffargah. A car overturned taking a turn near Indus hospital, leaving Abid Hussain, 36, Ahsan Javed, 15, and Jamil Umar, 48, injured.
