Overcast, rain forecast for Eid

Islamabad: The Met Office has forecast partly cloudy and rainy weather for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and adjoining areas during Eid days promising a pleasant meaty festival.
According to it, strong monsoon currents are penetrating upper and central parts of the country that are likely to persist till Wednesday. A westerly wave is also present over northern parts of the country. Under that weather system, rains coupled with wind and thunderstorms are expected to fall in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, GB, north Balochistan on Wednesday and Thursday.
