Cleanliness drive launched in Nowshera after CM’s notice

NOWSHERA: Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA), Nowshera, carried out an extensive cleanliness drive after the chief minister took notice of garbage along the railway track and seasonal stream in Rashakai in the district.

The staff of TMA along with heavy machinery rushed to the railway track and seasonal stream in Rashakai and launched cleanliness work. They continued work till midnight and disposed of the garbage along the railway track and seasonal stream in Rashakai. It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan had expressed dissatisfaction at the sanitation and cleanliness in Rashakai during his surprise visit on Sunday.

He had issued a warning to the relevant tehsil municipal officers for getting things better as soon as possible. The chief minister had made it clear that any government official, who was found negligent in his duties would be treated accordingly.
