LAHORE : Partly cloudy weather with humid conditions was reported in the provincial capital while the Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said that strong monsoon currents were likely to penetrate upper parts of the country from Sunday (evening/night) and may persist till Wednesday.
They predicted that rain-wind/thundershower was expected in upper Punjab, upper KP, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan while hot and humid weather was likely to prevail elsewhere in the country. Rainfall was recorded in several cities including Padidan, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sakrand, Dadu, Badin, Turbat, Zhob, Khuzdar and Sialkot. Saturday’s highest temperature was recorded at Sibbi where mercury reached 44°C while in Lahore it was 37.5°C and minimum was 29.7°C.
