LAHORE : Scattered rain and partly cloudy weather continued to prevail in the City here Thursday while the Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours. Met officials said strong monsoon currents from Bay of Bengal were penetrating lower areas while a shallow westerly wave was also present over upper and western parts of the country. Thursday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Nokkundi where mercury reached 44°C while in Lahore, it was 35.5°C and minimum was 26.5°C.
