SUKKUR: A man suffocated to death while trying to recover his cell phone from a sewage drain in district Shikarpur.
The person, identified as Ghulam Yaseen Arain, stepped inside the drain in Shikarpur to search for his cell phone along with his friend identified as Saud. However, soon both of them fell unconscious. The residents recovered them from the drain and shifted them to a local hospital, where Ghulam Yaseen was declared dead.
According to the CTD spokesman, the two were attempting to enter Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
