ABBOTTABAD: The office-bearers of the Kukmong Welfare Foundation, a social welfare body working for the well-being of people in the remote Kukmong Union Council, Abbottabad, took oath of offices on Monday.
Brigadier Muhammad Ibrahim and Muhammad Ishaq Qureshi administered oath to the members of the executive body and the general body of the organisation, respectively.
The members of KWF executive body included president Muhammad Bashir Abbasi, senior vice-president Dr Muhammad Rafiq Qureshi, vice-president Masood Ahmad Qureshi, general secretary Taj Muhammad, additional general secretary and public relations officer Muneeb Qureshi, joint secretary Shiraz Qureshi, information secretary Mirdad Khan, deputy information secretary Muhammad Pervez Qureshi, finance secretary Syed Khalid Ali Shah Kazmi and deputy finance secretary Shakil Ahmad Qureshi.
Similarly, president Village Council-Upper Abdul Hameed Qureshi, president Village Council-Central Khalid Gul, president Village Council-Lower Abdul Hameed, director of finance and audit Naeem Qureshi and director of security and protocol Mumtaz Qureshi was also sworn in. The working groups for the health, education, technical education, culture and sports, self-employment schemes and women empowerment of the organisation would be announced in the second phase.
