Three more die from corona

LAHORE: Punjab Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department Secretary Sarah Aslam has said a gradual decrease in Covid-19 infection rate has been witnessed in the province.

According to a handout issued here, during a daily review meeting of activities of COVID-19 across the Punjab, it was informed 162 new cases have been reported, bringing the total number of cases to 347,014. Until now 327,976 patients have fully recovered across the province.

During 24 hours, three more deaths have been reported by COVID-19 in Lahore, while 10 deaths have been reported across the province, bringing the total number of deaths to 10,786. In 24 hours, 17,488 test samples were taken while a total of 5,741,177 tests have been taken so far. Over 72 cases were reported in Lahore. In the 24 hours, the average positivity ratio of Covid-19 was 0.9 in all the cities across the province.

P&SHD POSTS: Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department issued requisition to PPSC for different posts in P&SHD. Secretary Sara Aslam said here on Tuesday, said, “We have sent requisition summary to PPSC for 1,000 medical and 500 women medical officers.

Interviews for 250 dental surgeons are in process, whereas 691 posts are advertised for the posts of consultants under various specialties, 120 posts are advertised for pharmacists and drug inspectors.
