KARACHI: Gold rates in the local market increased by Rs500 per tola on Friday.
According to data released by All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, gold rates in the local market moved up to Rs109,000 per tola.
Similarly, 10 gram gold price was raised by Rs429 to Rs93,450. In the international market, gold rates increased by $11 to $1,787 per ounce.
Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,410 per tola. Price of 10 gram silver also stood the same at Rs1,208.84.
Local jewellers said the gold cost in the local market was higher by Rs1,000 per tola as compared with rates in the Dubai gold market.
