MANSEHRA: The district Health department on Tuesday administered the coronavirus vaccine to faculty and other staff of the Helping Hand Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences.
“Thanks to high-ups of the Health department who established the camp at our campus and health facility to administer the Covid-19 vaccine to teachers and other staff of our institution,” Bahadur Shah, the director operations of HHIRS, told reporters.
He said they had requested the Health department to administer Covid-19 vaccination to their staff to protect them against the coronavirus.
“Our institution runs a prosthesis facility for the people with disabilities and hundreds of patients including aged ones come here monthly so it was highly necessary for our staff to get vaccinated against the Covid-19,” Shah said.
He said that since the outbreak of the Covid-19 in the country early last year the HHIRS was adopting all precautionary measures set by the government to help stop the spread of the disease.
