Boy killed trying to ‘catch thief’

MARDAN: A young boy was killed trying to ‘catch a thief’ in the limits of Par Hoti Police Station, police and local sources said.
The sources said that 17-year-old boy Hamza, a resident of Chail Banada, allegedly got killed attempting to catch a thief last night.
Sources added that the unidentified thief opened fire on him. As a result, he died on the spot. The police registered a case on the complaint of his father Anwar Shah.
