LAHORE:The Teaching Staff Association (TSA) of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore organised a protest demonstration and demanded Technical Allowance for the engineers working in departments of universities at the rate of 1.5 times of the basic salary on the analogy of the allowance granted to the engineers working in various departments of Punjab government.
The demo was held outside Lahore Press Club on Wednesday evening in which the engineers working in Tevta and representatives of Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association (FAPUASA) also participated.
