Youth involved in rape-cum-murder case killed by his accomplices

GUJRANWALA: A youth who was allegedly involved in a rape and murder case was killed by the firing of his own accomplices at Alipur Chattha on Sunday.

Accused Ali Hassan had allegedly raped and killed an 11-year-old girl two days ago and threw her body in a field. Later, the police arrested him. On the day of the incident, the police were taking him to Dera Sanat Singh for recovery of a motorcycle used in the incident when his four accomplices opened fire at the police van. As a result, accused Ali Hassan was killed on the spot. The attackers fled. The police have started search operation to arrest the accused persons.

TWO DRUG PUSHERS HELD: Tatlewali police have arrested two drug dealers and recovered heavy quantity of narcotics from them. The police arrested Wasif and Zubair, residents of Peshawar, and recovered 25kg charas and 1kg heroin from their car.

STATE LAND RETRIEVED: The district administration has retrieved 99-Kanal state land worth millions of rupees from land grabbers.

It was told that some land grabbers had occupied the commercial state land on Daska Road for the last may years. The district administration team under the supervision of ADC Revenue Hussain Ahmad Raza and AC Wazirabad Amir Mehmood conducted an operation and got vacated the land from the land grabbers.

ACCIDENT: A youth died in a road accident at Nowshera Virkan on Sunday. Reportedly, Zain was on his way on a motorcycle when a tractor-trolley hit him, killing him on the spot. Meanwhile, the dead body of a newborn baby was fond from a nullah at Ladhewala Warraich. Aroop police have shifted the dead body to the DHQ Hospital and started investigation.
