GUJRANWALA: A youth who was allegedly involved in a rape and murder case was killed by the firing of his own accomplices at Alipur Chattha on Sunday.
Accused Ali Hassan had allegedly raped and killed an 11-year-old girl two days ago and threw her body in a field. Later, the police arrested him. On the day of the incident, the police were taking him to Dera Sanat Singh for recovery of a motorcycle used in the incident when his four accomplices opened fire at the police van. As a result, accused Ali Hassan was killed on the spot. The attackers fled. The police have started search operation to arrest the accused persons.
TWO DRUG PUSHERS HELD: Tatlewali police have arrested two drug dealers and recovered heavy quantity of narcotics from them. The police arrested Wasif and Zubair, residents of Peshawar, and recovered 25kg charas and 1kg heroin from their car.
