SUKKUR: The Model Trial Court, Dadu, has adjourned the triple murder case trial of Umme Rubab’s family till July 03, as the court’s proceeding was suspended due to the sad demise of a female prosecutor. Reports said the main accused PPP’s MPA Sardar Khan Chandio, and MPA Burhan Khan Chandio along with their lawyers, have presented in the court, while the brother of Umme Rubab, Pervez Chandio along with their lawyers, also presented in the court.

While talking to media persons after the court, PPP MPA Sardar Khan Chandio said his counsel had to argue on Saturday but the trial was adjourned due to the demise of a female prosecutor.

He said being a public representative, people have been sending messages and declaring him accused in the triple murder case only because the killers had sent a message to him after committing the murders of Umme Rubab’s parents. PPP’s MPA said his cell phone was in the court’s custody as case property so they can verify his all the data, asking that if he would send a message to the Chief Justice then would he be involved in any crime.

He said he did not care about the case, but sometimes they are on official visits outside the country, however, he and his brother have to attend the proceedings. He said they both have been dragged in the case, despite of being innocent. He also extended his sympathies to Umme Rubab over the unfortunate killing of her father, grandfather and uncle.
